Shoufa Fabric Face Mask // Set of TWO // QuaraCare Collection

Lowcountry Eclectic

  • $ 30.00

Need a non-medical face mask?  We got ya covered!

Handmade face coverings are HERE and we are offering them at the lowest price we can do — TWO for $30 and that includes free shipping AND a bonus Tree of Life Diffuser Necklace.

The Shoufas in this listing cost more than our other ones because the fabric for these was purchased at a boutique fabric store in Charleston and their fabric costs nearly twice as much there as what we paid at local craft stores.  Hobby Lobby stores across the nation are now closed at least until May 1st and our online supplier has a 3 week turnaround time right now so we had no choice but to go with the boutique store.  Plus, they are also a small, family business so when you purchase these face coverings from us you are supporting TWO small family businesses!  I just wanted to explain this because keeping prices as affordable as possible has ALWAYS been a priority for us and now more than ever people need things to be fairly priced.

Using high quality, super cute material we are stitching together these useful, fashionable and effective face coverings around the clock.  For those of you wondering why we are not making masks with the traditional elastic ear loops, well, it’s because I can’t stand those...they always hurt my ears and I guess I’m sensitive.  I like these Shoufa better because they are easy to wear and are multifunctional.

What’s a Shoufa, you ask?  Well, inspired by Charleston native Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, the Shoufa is a face covering worn by the Aiel warriors.

Seeing as how we have a battle of our own to fight these days, the name Shoufa seemed to be apt.

Available fabric designs are shown in the listing pics.  We will be changing the designs out as they sell out so if you see a design you are particularly fond of, I recommend you not delay and snag it today!

And I’d like to take a moment and say something real quick...we are a family-run small business and usually, most of our sales happen in person at the Charleston City Market.  The Market has been closed for the last few weeks and will not open for quite a while so online sales are our ONLY income right now.  Your support means so much to us.  Sales from this website and our Etsy shop are keeping food on the table and we are GRATEFUL!
